More Than Volleyball: A Special Day at BRAVA

This July, BRAVA Volleyball Academy had the privilege of welcoming 30 children from His House Children’s Home for a special afternoon filled with volleyball training, games, food, laughter, and fun.


It was a wonderful opportunity to share our love of volleyball while creating a positive and memorable experience for the children in our community.


We are especially grateful to City of Doral Mayor Christi Fraga for joining us and for her support of this special event. A heartfelt thank you also goes to our amazing volunteers, whose time, energy, and enthusiasm helped make the day possible.


At BRAVA, we believe volleyball is about more than what happens on the court—it’s about community, connection, and creating opportunities to make a positive impact.


Thank you to everyone who helped make this event so meaningful. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Summer Was Hot, So We Went Indoors!

Miami summers bring the heat—and this one was no exception! So, we traded the outdoor courts for some air conditioning and took the action indoors. Throughout the summer, BRAVA hosted multiple indoor volleyball clinics, giving our athletes the opportunity to develop their skills while escaping the Miami heat. And who better to lead the way than Coach Ben ? Did you know Coach Ben played indoor volleyball professionally?
